After revealing the Ascend D quad, dubbed “the fastest smartphone on the market,” Huawei said that some of its newly announced smartphone will have LTE versions as well.
Aside from these, Huawei confirmed plans to introduce its full range of LTE mobile devices, including its LTE wireless network card (E3276) and LTE mobile WiFi (E5776) into European markets and Asia Pacific by July 2012.
Both LTE-enabled devices offer users speeds that are up to 50% faster than LTE mobile broadband devices in the market. In addition, they provide up to 150Mbps downstream speed in LTE FDD format, and 112Mbps downstream speed in LTE TDD format.
According to Huawei, its Ascend D lte and Ascend P1 lte will be available on the market by July as well. The former comes with a dual-core processor clocked at 1.5 GHz and a 4.5-inch HD capacitive touchscreen display.
Huawei will also release the world’s first LTE TDD multi-mode Mobile WiFi Huawei E589, LTE TDD wireless broadband router Huawei B593 as well as cradle AF23 and AF22.
It appears that Huawei is content by how well the LTE technology has been received by carriers in Europe, North America and Middle East, which is why it plans to launch more LTE-enabled mobile devices by the end of the year.
